After the statement, we are pleased to announce an upcoming MD event organized by PhD SDC students, dedicated to exploring the intricacies of the complex matter surrounding the situation in Gaza and its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Following the ceasefire statement signed and endorsed by 126 PhD SDC students, we are hosting an online multi-disciplinary event titled "Gaza in Perspective: Historical Context, Human Rights, and Sustainability" to further explore the crisis in Gaza and our role as an academic community. ย
The event will feature expert speakers across the three pillars, from former UN Special Rapporteurs, to representatives of the Italian Red Cross, scholars from the Institute for Palestine Studies, and more. ย
