Ph.D. students at IUSS Pavia delve into advanced economic modeling and flood risk engineering at the recent CU2 event.
A CU2 (Socio-economic risk and impacts) event recently took place at the IUSS Pavia. The CU event offered Ph.D. students two exciting sessions:
- Economic Modeling: Learn about cutting-edge techniques such as Agent-Based (AB), Stock-Flow Consistent (SFC), and Input-Output (IO) models used to analyze and simulate economic systems.
- Flood Risk Engineering: Gain insights from engineers on flood risk assessment. The conference explores how engineers predict flood likelihood and potential consequences to keep communities safe.
