Our busy academic calendar kept us from sharing some exciting CU events that took place over the summer: the CU5 took place in the sunny Sassari.
On July 3-4, 2023, a CU5 (Agriculture and Forestry) event took place at the University of Sassari, thanks to a collaboration between its PhD in Agricultural Sciences and our PhD program.
PhD SDC students of CU5 were immersed in captivating lectures and discussions on sustainable farming and climate resilience. They gained valuable insights on the carbon neutrality of the land sector, explored the use of living labs in agricultural science, and examined animal welfare and ethics. Finally, they had a chance to hone their skills in interdisciplinary working groups.
PhD SDC is dedicated to enhancing the skills of its students, no matter the season.
