PhD candidates explored adapting democratic structures for sustainability, aiming for a fairer, more resilient future.
Within the CU4 (Theories, Institutions, and Cultures) framework, a highly relevant event took place from March 7th to 9th, 2024, in the splendid city of Turin.
The theme addressed was both timely and critical: climate change raises fundamental questions about the future of democracy. We asked ourselves: "Is it time to rethink and reimagine democracy for a sustainable future?".
Over these three intense and stimulating days, we tackled this question and many others, exploring the delicate interplay between climate change and democracy transformation. CU4 PhD students were put to the test through engaging working groups, enlightening presentations, and discussions that spurred reflection.
