Innovation Unleashed: Geography of Innovation Winter School - Nurturing Minds, Shaping Futures

The Geography of Innovation Winter School offers an intensive training program for doctoral students and junior researchers interested in the geography of innovation, regardless of their background. Participants have the unique opportunity to present their ongoing research and receive feedback from renowned scholars.

This edition features 12 speakers from academia, EU research centers, and data analytics companies like Ip-Quant. Topics include technological diversification, regional innovation policy, network science, economic complexity, green innovation, and patent data.

Two data-lab sessions will introduce participants to methods, programming languages (R and Python), and data sources in economic complexity, regional diversification, and network science.

Additionally, participants can discuss publication strategies with speakers from editorial boards of international journals such as Research Policy, Industry and Innovation, and others. The Winter School will admit a limited number of students on a rolling basis, ensuring an exclusive and impactful learning experience.
