The University of Salerno is hosting a thought-provoking online seminar series titled "For a Political Ecology of Migration: (im)mobility, Green Colonialism, and Socio-ecological Transformations."
The schedule includes distinguished speakers such as Jason W. Moore from the University of Binghamton, Hamza Hamouchene from the Transnational Institute, Ana María López-Sala from the Spanish Council for Scientific Research, Yoan Molinero Gerbeau from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and Anna Mary Garrapa from the University of Salerno.
Topics range from class struggles in the Holocene to confronting green colonialism in the Arab region, migration and border management in the Mediterranean area, the environmental aspects of migrations, and labor borders in agrifood systems.
