As the inaugural cycle of the PhD in Sustainable Development and Climate Change concludes this month, the 37th cycle gathered at the SDC Conference in Venice from October 28–30 to mark this milestone.
The conference, held at Univeristy of Venice, was designed to not only showcase the research efforts of these pioneering PhD candidates but also to foster collaboration and engagement. Through sessions on research presentations, thesis preparation, and interactive discussions with supervisors, the event promoted academic growth, cross-disciplinary exchange, and invaluable feedback within the SDC community.
This gathering was a moment of celebration and reflection—honoring three transformative years since the program’s 2021 inception, where students, professors, and staff have grown together, building not only academic achievements but also lasting connections and friendships.
Best wishes to our 37th cycle as they approach thesis discussions, and good luck to all SDC students in the academic year ahead!
