SDC PhD candidates have been awarded by Enel Foundation for their research topic.
In the framework of its scientific partnership with the PhD in Sustainable Development and Climate Change, the Enel Foundation has promoted an award in memory of Franco Tatò, former Enel CEO who passed away in 2022.
The award honors those PhD SDC students who pioneer research in energy transition and circular economy. On 19 December 2023, in Rome, our talented PhD students showcased their remarkable work. Excitingly, Soroush Zarghami Dastjerdi and Valentino Gabriel Martello have been named the winners of the 2023 Tatò Award! They will be working respectively on hydropower generation in the Italian Alpine and the development of innovative metal-organic frameworks for ionic conduction. Special mention was given to Elisa Grazia Lucia Nobile.
A heartfelt thanks to the Enel Foundation for supporting the intellectual growth our PhD students!
Let's give a big round of applause to all the participating PhD students! Research also comprises these noteworthy milestones, and we believe it's crucial to celebrate them and support one another!
