PhD students from the 39th cycle enhanced their skills in academic publishing during an engaging two-day workshop in Pisa.
On November 14–15, 2024, the University of Pisa hosted a CU2 (Socio-Economic Risks and Impacts) training event for PhD-SDC students of the 39th cycle. This dynamic workshop provided practical insights into the scientific publication process, including editorial workflows, overcoming publishing challenges, and avoiding predatory publishers and conferences.
Participants honed their communication skills by presenting their research in under five minutes, fostering clarity and confidence. The event encouraged open discussions on the challenges of research, offering a supportive environment for growth and collaboration. This CU2 training exemplified the program’s dedication to equipping scholars with the tools for academic success.
