One of the key aspects of the energy transition is the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, which is also accompanied by a number of difficulties. As an energy carrier that can support the energy transition in the challenging to electrify sectors, hydrogen (H2) has emerged as a crucial component in the decarbonization efforts.
However, the use of H2 in large scale application has some challenges and difficulties that must to be address.
In this editorial, our PhD candidates Alain and Mattia give us a brief overview related to the hydrogen world from production methods to applications.
