About me

Tosin Afeniforo is an animal ecologist and sustainable development practitioner. His area of interest includes climate change and health; climate-related displacement, inequality, and social development; plastic pollution and marine life. He is committed to promoting sustainable development practices, a sustainable environment, and climate justice.

My research

The research aims to investigate the combined effects of microplastic ingestion and climate change on marine organisms (using bivalve molluscs, Mytilus galloprovinciallis, as an experimental model in a laboratory experiment). The study is expected to show the potential effects of multiple stressors (microplastic ingestion and induced climate change effects) on the studied organism.
