About me

I am a PhD student at Sapienza University of Rome. After graduating in Building Engineering/Architecture, I attended the High level training course in Architecture for Humanity. Currently, I am teaching assistant in the course Building Technology and Sustainable Architecture at Sapienza University of Rome. My goal is to deepen my knowledge about environmental and social sustainability in the built environment for improving public social housing.

My research

The goal is to tackle climate fragilities at the neighborhood and building scale, considering environmental and social conditions for improving life quality and well-being. The study models the impacts of UHI on buildings thermal indoor comfort and energy performance, to estimate heat-stress effects due to overheating, focusing specifically on low-income housing stock. Then the research attempts to develop building adaptive design solutions.
