Energy Engineer
In 2021 I obtained the master's degree in Energy Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Afterwards, I attended an internship 9 months long in a small company engaged in biomethane production plants development in Italy. Then, in November 2021, I started my PhD with the objective to actively contribute to the ongoing energy transition from the academic field.
In energy systems models, as well as in all other models aimed to represent real-world systems, there are several approximations that need to be introduced in order to obtain valid and useful results in a reasonable amount of time. My research is focused on the analysis of the trade-off between spatial detail and computational effort and times, with particular attention to decarbonisation scenarios.
