International Economics and Management; Social Policy and Development
Developing participatory frameworks for sustainable development represents the file rouge of my professional experience. I had a 1-year experience working with an NGO in Jordan, before returning to academia and starting a research fellowship with a focus on science-based participatory governance approaches for sustainable water management.I am currently a PhD-SDC student and member of the scientific association DesertNet International.
My research is concerned with participatory co-researching approaches to address agro-environmental sustainability challenges, with a focus on climate change adaptation and the governance of water resources. The Living Lab approach will be applied, to provide an empirical answer to the question of how it can facilitate sustainability transitions and transformative adaptation in Mediterranean agro-socio-ecosystems.
