About me

I am an environmental scientist working on plant ecology in the alpine environment, a very fragile environment that is changing rapidly in response to climate change impacts. The main focus is on the conservation and preservation of these environments.

My research

The main objectives of my project are adaptation and mitigation of climate change impacts in an areawhere shrub encroachment is evident.Indeed, shrub colonization and expansion is changing the alpine landscape and causes significant ecosystem alterations, with positive feedbacks to climate change, also related to the emission of carbon dioxide. The shrub removal, through their cutting, would return the environment to conditions of the early 199#N/As
