About me

I got my Bachelor's and Master's degree in chemistry at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria. The experimental thesis was focused on the synthesis and characterization of square planar diaryl nickel(II) complexes as catalysts for cross-coupling reactions. After graduation I attended a post-master research project that was focused on synthesis and characterization of luminescent complexes.

My research

The aim of this project is to actively contribute to the reduction of environmental impact by developing new materials and devices that are sustainable, efficient and rely on renewable energy sources like Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs). I plan to to synthesize and characterize highly efficient emissive materials, their photophysical properties will also be investigated and this information will be integrated with TD-DFT calculations.
