Political Scientist
I graduated cum laude in Political Sciences and International Relations at the University of Pavia in 2017. Subsequently I graduated cum laude in European Studies at the University of Siena, with a thesis in Environmental Economics. My interest in sustainability issues range from carbon trading to transport policies, with a focus on aviation analyzed from several viewpoints, such as political, economic and sociological perspectives.
My PhD project is on the decarbonization pathways of the civil aviation industry. I am investigating this issue from several points of view, combining methodologies from different disciplines. For example, I am exploring issues related to sustainable alternative fuels, market-based mitigation instruments, social acceptance of several mitigation options and ticket price increases, and zero-emission planes.
