About me

Costanza is currently a PhD student in Philosophy based at the University of Turin. Before this, she did a BA and MA in Philosophy at the same institution. Her main interests lie in social philosophy and moral philosophy. Overall, her research is guided by a desire to understand why people join (and remain) together giving rise to plural subjects and groups and how these phenomena relate to personal and collective identity and social normativity.

My research

By exploring the intersection of social ontology and intergenerational ethics, the dissertation aims to outline a qualitative socio-ontological framework for social groups that is sensitive to diachronicity and addresses social theory, collective memory, intergenerational justice, and transgenerationality. The project also reveals a certain sensitivity for philosophical methodologies, their possible interaction, and convergence.
