Physicist
I graduated in Physics and afterwards I worked as research fellow at ISAC-CNR, within the MEDSCOPE project. During these periods, I acquired skills in time series analysis, meteorological modelling, bias-correction and downscaling techniques, snow-glaciers physics. My goal is to continue the path undertaken in research, providing useful tools for climate change adaption and a better understanding of meteo-climatic phenomena in complex terrain.
In-situ weather stations data of different meteorological variables will be collected for the extended Alpine region. After quality control and homogenization processes, the observational data will be interpolated to an high-resolution grid. A trend and extremes analysis over 1991 - 2#N/A2#N/A, also considering relationship to other climate change features, will be performed. The added value of the new dataset will be assessed.
