About me

I am a cheerful and sociable person, working always to the best of the ability when motivated. After the master's degree at Agricultural Faculty of the University of Milan, I worked there as a research fellow, collaborating in the middle with Studio Laura Gatti. Trees and shrubs were the focus of my activities. With this PhD, I hope to give my contribution in the scientific, planning and management advance of urban green areas.

My research

My research aims at evaluating some ecosystem services of environmental regulation provided by the urban forest. Experimental methods to quantify vegetation effectiveness in particle air pollution removal will be the subject of a deep bibliographic and empirical research. The results will be used to develop a species-specific model able to direct decision makers in the design of greener, healthier, and sustainable cities.
