Most flood risk assessments focus on the identification of areas of direct impact. However, significant indirect impacts, or cascade effects, are often overlooked. This research proposal aims to develop a methodological framework for modeling the cascade effects of pluvial flooding events in cities to configure future resilience plans and support urban planning.
