Civil Engineer
It’s the cliche “I wanted to be a scientist when I grow up” that dared me to leave the industry for a career in academia. While in construction, I realized the key role of engineering moving forward. My internship in CCARPH paved the way to innovative projects like the Project DIGDI, and later, this PhD in Sustainable Development and Climate Change. Now, more than ever, I am determined to help save our rivers by detecting plastic.
The goal of my PhD is the development of an unsupervised hydrological monitoring computer vision techniques for river monitoring, with special focus to plastic.
