About me

Mai Linh, Nguyen is a researcher with ten years experience working at the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD), part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Vietnam. She majors in agricultural commodity analysis. Now, she proposes a PhD study on finding transitions towards more sustainability in Italian agricultural production and food consumption.

My research

Rice is one of the most important crops in Italy. However, this sector is being threatening by many problems. Therefore, a new study is necessary to find incentives to increase rice farmers’ adoption of legume-supported crop rotation, to quantify the compensation amount that farmers can accept for rice-field conversion, and to identify drivers influencing consumers’ WTP for rice products with CF label. The applied model is Choice experiment.
