I am an engineer with a strong passion for renewable energies and associated challenges about their integration in sustainable energy systems. After my studies I gained further skills about model-driven and data-driven techniques, with the aim to apply such knowledge for understanding how energy communities can be proposed as a solution also for non strictly engineering related tasks, like social inclusion and energy poverty.

Energy Communities enable customers to have a direct possibility to access electricity markets through demand response and demand side management. In this perspective, in addition to economic and environmental issues, also users’ behaviour and preferences should be accounted to optimally operate and size energy systems through optimization and machine learning techniques, while preserving business model stability.
