My research experience started in Portugal, at the University of Aveiro where I developed my master thesis on Health impact related to air pollution and air quality improvement with Natre based solutions, giving a contribution to the UNaLab project. Then in may 2#N/A21 I started a trainsheep at The European Commission JRC in Ispra, in the Air and Climate unit working on methodologies for assessing health impact and cost of air pollution.
The aim is to develop a damage prediction model for direct and indirect damage, providing an understanding of vulnerable business assets in different economic sectors. This can be used on the one hand to support the cost-benefit analysis for mitigationmeasures and on the other hand to evaluate the adaptation action that can be implemented individually by the company. Econometrics analysis on post-event data are performed.
