About me

Me in three words: curious, proactive, optimist. Both my BS and MS are in chemistry. During the period of my master's thesis I have been working on  the development of thermochromic temperature indicators in the group of prof. Karl Mandel in Erlangen, Germany. Despite the lovely time spent there, I wanted to  explore a bit more the field of energy storage and battery applications. Eventually I am in Torino, trying to do interesting things.

My research

I concentrate on the development of metal-organic frameworks (MOF) able to conduct single-ions, aiming to work as solid electrolyte materials for batteries  (Li, Na, or Mg based). As part of a collaboration between the university (i) and the polytechnical institute (ii) of Torino, the syntheses of the MOF are conducted in the labs of prof. Silvia Bordiga (i), while the electrochemical characterization in the labs of prof. Claudio Gerbaldi (ii).
