About me

I got my Master’s Degree in Marine Biology at Università Politecnica delle Marche. I learned about multi-biomarker approach to analyse the ecotoxicological effects of chemicals at different levels of the biological organisation. During my studies I improved my team-working and technical skills. I’m a member of “Impronta Animale”, an association promoting not only the passion for science but also environmental and ecological awareness.

My research

My project is focused on characterizing levels and typologies of CECs (i.e. PFAS, PPCPs, microplastic and their related contaminats) in the Central Adriatic Sea, evaluating the status of selected marine coastal species affected by multiple environmental stressors and finally investigate the interactive effects of climatic stressors (ocean acidification, salinity extremes, heatwaves) and CECs on different compartments of the marine ecosystem.
