Energy Engineer
I believe that rethinking the energy system is one of the most important steps to tackle climate change. That is what motivated me to go into energy engineering and to focus my studies on decarbonisation of university facilities, energy modelling and analysis. My professional goal is to become an engineer (and a researcher) who's able to identify the appropriate technology for each context, respecting natural resources and people.
The aim of my project is to develop a replicable methodology to collect and manage energy-related data through spatial and historical dimensions to create a specific and flexible energy model to describe the pathway towards a decarbonised energy system at a regional level. This work will lead to the production of future models and scenarios to enhance and monitor actions to reduce energy consumption and increase the share of renewable energy.
