About me

I graduated in Law at University of Palermo and hold a Master in Human Rights and Conflict Managements at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa. I have been working with UNDP Kosovo, within the Transitional Justice Process and as Assistant Project Manager for NGOs, focused on human rights. Grounded in the broader area of juridical, economic and social studies, my research explores how business enterprises contribute to the respect of human rights

My research

Business and human Rights literature has so far investigated how companies react to human rights and environmental abuses, but the focus has been mostly organizational. My interest is to analyze how CEOs individually might respond to socio-environmental conflicts involving defenders, analyzing the nature of the interactions with the defenders and the outcome. The method used is quantitative (QcA) and qualitative (field work with interviews).
