I am a Ph.D. student  with an increasing interest in sustainability. While I was working on my  master degree's thesis I took part in the AUTENS project at the University of Pisa, about self-sufficiency of energy communities. So my thesis concerned  the energetic and economic benefits of renewable energy communities, and  during its development, I decided to begin my period of research about this  theme to enhance my knowledge about it.

My research is about the enlargement of the perspective of renewable energy communities  through the development of optimal integration of thermal and electrical energy systems, both for production, storage, and distribution. In addition, the research focuses also on community energy flexibility and strategies to increase it.
