About me

I am an efficient and organised person, with a preference for planning programmes to be followed in order to achieve the objective within the set time frame. I have a careful, methodical approach and an excellent work rhythm. I carry out a priority and criticality analysis with the aim of promptly identifying the best solutions to problems, favouring a cooperative dialogue and pragmatic approach. Multidisciplinarity is indispensable for success.

My research

The key objective of my research are to construct a well-defined chronostratigraphy of different study areas (Sardinia, Lazio, Tuscany, Apulia, Mallorca and Cyprus) using luminescence dating method in order to define the correct timing of the geological events occurred over the Late Glacial Stage. Sedimentary systems evolve and behave under rapid climate fluctuation, opening new scenarios for studying the potential cyclicity of extreme events.
