After receiving his Master's degree in Analysis of Social Processes from the University of Milan Bicocca in 2020, he worked as a data scientist and was involved in several national and European research projects on media and narratives. His research interests include news production and framing in media events; intermediality and media ecosystems; populism, collective identity and political communication; media representation of climate change.
The project focuses on media coverage of climate risks in two scenarios, extreme weather events and release of significant information by international scientific institutions. Through a case study approach, media content is analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, ranging from discourse and content analysis to text and network analysis. The aim is to provide an overview of the media ecosystem, highlighting relevant content, actors, and barriers in the news production process.
