About me

I successfully completed a five-year degree programme in chemistry with a specialisation in physical chemistry. During this course, I focused my thesis work on the study of eco-friendly materials for lithium ion batteries, gaining research experience in electrochemistry. In connection with this work, I also conducted experiments on electrochemical cells at the research centre Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste.

My research

The aim of my research project is to improve the performances and stability of Li-ion batteries by designing and characterising new compositions of inorganic cathodic materials and testing electrochemical cells assembled in glove box. Regarding all-solid-state batteries the research work plans to investigate the doping effect on the ionic conductivity of a solid electrolyte.
