Architectural Engineer
I am an Architectural Engineer passionate in urban studies and environmental issues. Before starting the PhD-SDC, I worked to help cities manage flood risk by developing an approach that compares different NBS scenarios from a hydraulic, economic, environmental and social perspective. Now my goals are focused on helping the transition to a more sustainable urban regeneration that can improve quality of life and common good in our society.
The research aims to define a system to support public body setting a tool for evaluating the sustainability and quality of territorial transformations, considering both the economic aspects, and the social and environmental values that affect quality of life and well-being. Through the analysis of existing performance criteria and impact assessment methods, the research intends to promote operative solutions for sustainable urban regeneration.
