About me

I received my MSc in Hydraulic Engineering and River Basin Develop from IHE-Institute for Water Education, Netherland. I have been engaged in teaching different water related courses for undergraduate students at Haramaya University, Ethiopia. I have been also engaged in projects and consultancy services in collaboration with local institutions such as Ethiopian Ministry of Water and Energy, Awash basin Authority, and Diredawa administration.

My research

The current research primarily focuses on developing a modeling framework for integrated, sustainable, and climate-resilient river basin management. The hydrological, water management, and socio-economic modeling concepts will be applied to investigate the demand-supply interactions of the complex and conflicting water users/stakeholders. This research is expected to provide valuable information for decision makers at different levels.
