About me

Graduated in Molecular and Applied Biology at Marche Polytechnic University. During my studies, it became clear how climate change poses a challenge to species that populate the Earth. My thesis project provided a unique opportunity to delve into the intricate world of transposable elements (TEs), revealing their close association with adaptive genetic processes in birds.

My research

The focus of my Ph.D. project is to conduct an analysis on genomic and transcriptomic responses of aquatic species under different conditions. Using advanced bioinformatic tools, the objective is to thoroughly explore the pivotal role of transposable elements in the adaptive responses to environmental perturbations. The main goal of this research is to contribute to the development of conservation strategies to preserve bioidiversity.
