About me

Martina Zanetti is a PhD student in Sustainable Development and Climate Change, based at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa. She holds a BA in Philosophy, International and Economic Studies with a minor in Energy, Climate Change and Environmental Risks from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and an MLitt in Moral, Political and Legal Philosophy from the University of St Andrews.

My research

Martina’s research interest focuses on environmental philosophy, mainly on Green Republicanism, Climate Change Political Theory, Climate Ethics, and Spinoza’s philosophy applied to the environment. Currently, she is elaborating a political theory capable of inspiring and justifying Anthropocene policies. She is developing such a theory by revising green republicanism on the basis of an ecoposthuman ontological and ethical foundation.
