About me

Lorenzo Zannini is a PhD student in Sustainable Development and Climate Change at IUSS Pavia and is currently hosted by the University of Naples “L’Orientale”. He graduated with a MA degree in English and Anglo-American Studies from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a thesis titled "Discourse, Protests, Representation: a comparative discourse analysis of the English-language media coverage of the anti-extradition movement in Hong Kong".

My research

My current research draws on corpus-assisted critical discourse studies to analyse competing climate discourses on adaptation in news and social media.
